EVBO Lecture Award

The EVBO Lecture Award is intended for independent early to mid-career scientists (ideally 5-15 years of experience as an independent PI) to present at an international meeting.

EVBO will support this award with 1.000 €, to be used for costs associated with the meeting where the lecture will be held.

Any EVBO member can nominate candidates using the online nomination tool. EVBO’s Award Committee will propose suitable candidates to the EVBO council committee for final approval.

Nominees are selected based on the following two main criteria:

– Scientific merit (excellent publication, and third-party funding track record, and honours).

– Significant contribution to Vascular Biology research in Europe (mentoring, teaching, lecturing, academic engagement).

The awardee is required to hold an EVBO membership at the time of the award lecture.
