The project focuses on the role of the splicing factor Nova2 in tumor angiogenesis using molecular, histological, and imaging techniques, in collaboration with the group of Claudia Ghigna, IGM-CNR, Pavia, Italy. The candidate will work in an international and highly motivated, well-financed environment with up-to-date equipment.

Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology (or an equivalent scientific degree), and have hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques. Fluent spoken and written English are required. Applicants are expected to be highly motivated, able to carry on the project independently and to coordinate with national and international collaborators.

A PhD degree in Biology or related scientific fields and/or previous experience in cardiovascular/cancer biology are highly desirable.

The project is funded by the Unione europea – Next Generation EU in the framework of the PRIN PNRR program. The position is for 15 months with a salary of €45,000, starting in May/June 2024.
