Postdoctoral and Doctoral positions are available in the newly established Finnish Centre of Excellence in Immune–Endothelial Interfaces (IMMENs), composed of four research groups: Dr. Taija Mäkinen’s and Dr. Kari Vaahtomeri’s research groups at the University of Helsinki and Dr. Cecilia Sahlgren’s and Dr. Guillaume Jaqcuemet’s at the Åbo Akademi University, Turku.
Project description. The overarching aim of IMMENs is to understand how local immune responses are regulated at the lymphatic endothelium-immune cell interface. We utilize state of the art in vivo mouse genetic models, innovative explant and primary cell co-culture assay, advanced microscopy solutions and bioengineering.
