The working group focuses on researching the morphological, molecular, and functional properties of endothelial cells and their changes in the context of metabolic and oncological diseases: Vascular Signaling, Metabolism and Cancer: University Hospital Mannheim (umm.de). The position is fundamentally divisible.

 

Your tasks:

Research in the field of endothelial cell biology and signal transduction
Application of state-of-the-art cell biology, molecular biology, and genetic methods, including OMICS and single cell analyses
Use of bioinformatic analyses and data integration

 

Your skills:

A degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline with a doctorate
Experimental experience in molecular biology, vascular biology, and/or tumor biology
Scientific curiosity and enthusiasm for science
Excellent written and spoken English skills
Excellent organizational skills, high level of commitment and determination, independence, and ability to work in a team
