A postdoctoral research position is immediately available in the laboratory of Beatriz Sosa-Pineda at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for highly motivated scientists interested in advancing our understanding of pancreatic disease mechanisms and developing innovative approaches for tissue repair and regeneration. The research program focuses on investigating the role of the lymphatic vasculature in pancreatitis progression and tissue repair using established mouse models, high-resolution three-dimensional imaging, and single-cell transcriptomic approaches. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and intellectually stimulating research environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities, outstanding scientific resources, and extensive opportunities for professional development. Candidates should hold a PhD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree and have demonstrated experience with mouse models of disease. A background in lymphatic biology, pancreatitis research, immunology, or related fields is highly desirable.
