He worked as postdoctoral fellow at Yale University School of Medicine, USA and at Heidelberg University, Germany. He joined the Institute for Vascular Signalling, Goethe University Frankfurt in 2016, where he is now research group leader and lecturer (MSc in Molecular Medicine &amp; post-graduate courses in cardiovascular biology). Dr. Siragusa serves as EVBO Council member since 2017 and EVBO Secretary since 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Mission statement<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Siragusa\u2019s research interests lie in understanding the molecular mechanisms controlling endothelial cell function and how their alterations contribute to the development of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases (atherosclerosis, hypertension, diabetes).
