Job Description
\nThe aim of this position is to investigate transcriptional changes in and between cells with vascular ageing using spatial omics to identify promising leads for experimental interventions to maintain good cardiovascular health up to an old age. You will be involved in data acquisition in the wet-lab, and supported by a bioinformaticians to analyze data if needed. Following omics, candidate genes will be studied with gain- and loss- of function interventions in cell- and organ culture, and in transgenic animal models in vivo.<\/p>\n

The institute is led by Prof. Kramann (Kramann Lab Translational cardiovascular and kidney research). In addition, you will benefit from cross-border collaboration with Prof. Sluimer\u2019s other team in Maastricht University, The Netherlands.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Good employment conditions. The position is in graded in TV level 13 or “Entgeltgruppe 13”, a gross salary starting from \u20ac4000 per month for 40-hour workweek (full time, 1FTE). Paid vacation is 30 days per year<\/p>\n
\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 An employment contract for a period of 3 years with a scope of 1.0 FTE. Upon a positive evaluation after 1 years, the employment contract will be extended for another two years.<\/p>\n
