Atherosclerosis & thrombosis and vascular biology courses – Dutch Heart Foundation

I would like to bring to your attention the Atherosclerosis & Thrombosis and vascular biology courses of the Dutch Heart Foundation. These courses will take place from 8 – 12 October at Sport centre Hotel Papendal near Arnhem. The English-spoken courses have a very strong programme, and allow ample time for social interactions.

Here are 3 reasons why you should attend the Atherosclerosis & Thrombosis course:

  1. Up-to-date introduction in the physiology of metabolism, inflammation and haemostasis, and their significance in cardiovascular disease.
  2. Insight into the multifaceted interactions of established and novel actors (e.g. dyslipidaemia, gut microbiome, sex differences) in atherosclerosis and thrombosis.
  3. Latest advances in prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Leading experts give state-of-the-art lectures. You will have lively discussions and debates on controversies in research and treatment of CVD. On Friday you will be able to present your posters in a TEDMED session.
